My daughter's poem.

Beautiful poem written for me by my daughter.

You're always there.

You always care.

Gave up your life of fun,

and parties in the sun.

All for a small little life,

who cried in the nights,

and put up a fight,

wouldn't eat my food,

or tidy my room.

But in the darkness and the gloom,

you made sure that there were

no monsters in my cupboard.

And you always shuddered,

when you had to get rid of the spiders.

But you still did it for me.

I'm a good bike rider,

because you taught me.

In the local park,

it took until dark,

for me to learn,

but with your encouragement

I finally got it.

With the right nourishments,

I'm growing into a young lady.

All thanks to you, mum.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for your kind words and support.

My daughter and I feel so blessed to have friends like you in good times and not

so good times. I wish you all lots of love and happiness in your lives and hope that

you are all taking care of yourselves too!

To children, parents of abused children and adults who have suffered and who are still suffering abuse; my heart goes out to you all. Please don't put up with the it any longer. You should not have to endure this suffering. You deserve safety and happiness. Be strong and seek help from a relative, a friend, Samaritans, or the Police.

It manifests itself in many ways,

And tends to cloud the issues that might otherwise be clear.

It is in these times of confusion,

That we must seek peace and solitude;

Time to contemplate on our life,

Our experiences and our choices past;

Time to look back, and reflect on what we have learned

Without fear or confusion.

For only each of us knows our own personal thoughts;

Our unique past and personal history;

The experiences that brought us to the crossroads we now face.

We can always learn a small degree from others experiences,

And yet ... no one person can walk in our shoes,

Others know not, the trials and tribulations faced in private ...

For each is individual ... unique ... and personal.

And that is why ... while standing at a crossroads,

Only "we" can formulate the decision for ourselves;

The true direction that lies within;

The choices we must deliberate on with clarity and wisdom.

For it is only through personal reflection,

That we can now choose our destiny;

... Our next adventure;

... And the future we will embrace.
